Service Description

WHO SHOULD ATTEND: • Craft Workers • Apprentices • General Construction Workers • Working Charge hands • On-site Security Workers • Contractors Drivers On-site • Delivery Drivers On-site e.g. concrete trucks PREREQUISITES: • 1 Passport sized photograph • Photo Identification • Irish PPS Number • Proof of PPS Number i.e. Social Welfare Card or payslip with PPS number. • The course is conducted in the English language. Candiates MUST have a very good level of English, both written and spoken to attend the course. COURSE CONTENT: • Duties & Responsibilities at work • Noise & Vibration • Accident Reporting & Prevention • Promoting a Safety Culture • Working at heights • Excavations & Confined Spaces • Working with Electricity and overhead services • Personal Protective Equipment • Working with and held equipment, tools and machinery • The Safe use of vehicles • Manual Handling • Health & Hygiene AWARD TYPE: • SOLAS Safe Pass Rules Please see below for the following requirement needed to complete the Safe Pass course: • All attendees are required to have an Irish PPS number • All attendees are required to provide proof of their Irish PPS number • All attendees are required to bring photographic proof of Identification e.g. passport, social services card etc. • All attendees are required to provide a passport sized photograph *****Any attendees unable to provide all of the above will be refused entry to the course*****
