BRENDAN KEARNS
Director of Training
Brendan oversees and takes a leading role in the training and development of our apprentices and external delivery. He joined the company in 1996 and has witnessed substantial changes in how construction projects are delivered. Brendan is committed to advancing in technology and is reflected in our training delivery. Brendan has been instrumental in developing and driving our training ethos and program which is to become the standard for safety training and delivering this both internally to our staff and externally to our customers.
SHANE BLANEY
Quality Manager / Tutor / Assessor
Shane oversees the quality, testing and commissioning within Designer Group. He holds a national Craft Certificate, Bachelor of Engineering & City & Guilds 2407. As Designer Groups Senior Authorised Person he holds ultimate responsibility for the monitoring and development of our Electrical Safe Systems of Work. Shane is also a Chartered Quality Professional with over 15 years in the electrical industry. Shane is committed to educating our industry in electrical testing & safety.
TOM QUINLAN
Senior Training Adviser / Tutor / Assessor
The people at DG Training Academy are passionate about making a significant and long-lasting impact, and Tom Quinlan is no exception. As an experienced Instructor, he has been an integral part of our team since the beginning.Tom has over 35 years in the electrical industry with a variety of experience. He is a Senior Test Engineer and Training Adviser. He has a Diploma in Education for NUI Galway. He is passionate about apprentice development and the further education of industry qualified professionals. He has been instrumental to development of Designer Groups City & Guilds delivery.
